....is dipping. After umpteen false starts, including a raw food diet, a no carb diet and a don't-mix-carbs-and-proteins diet, I have been slowly inching the scale down by -- surprise -- eating less.
I basically take the same thing to work with me every day -- a lemon for the early morning lemon juice, 2 dates and some almonds to "start my metabolism," some white cheese with olives (I make sure to get olives at the open air market which are quite good) and some rice crackers. Four cups of coffee each day is, of course, non-negotiable.
But slowly, the pounds are dropping off. There are also a few things that I'm not supposed to eat because they aren't compatible with my blood type, including onions, hummos and crackers. Not a big deal. I would like to not THINK about food all the time, though at this point I'm not really hungry that much any more. But the pleasure of fitting into some of my clothes that have been languishing in my closet for years makes it worthwhile.
Will sign off now while I go find a carrot.
